Michael Pinson, Estimating Manager

Michael was born and raised in Pell City, AL where he still resides today.

Having grown up working alongside his father in the construction industry, Michael has been involved with building for most of his life. Initially attending college in the mid-90’s on a baseball scholarship with aspirations of becoming an architect, he instead decided to leave college early to start a family with his wife, Patty, whom he met in college. He returned to work building homes with his father for several years before joining Webb Building Materials in 2013 as an outside salesman, also working in estimating and purchasing during his tenure there. Michael joined Slate Barganier in 2020 as the Estimating Manager.

Michael and Patty live in Pell City on his grandparents old homestead where he was raised. They married on February 29, 2004, so they have only had 4 anniversaries to date! Their family includes two children, Jackson (26) and Allie (22), and two dogs, Hamilton, a goldendoodle, and Tank, a bernedoodle. Michael enjoys camping, mountain biking and golf.
